For a long time, I disliked poetry. I think the main reason for this is that I wasn’t reading the right poetry. Once I found some poems that I connected with, I was hooked. Over the past two years, I’ve developed a soft spot for reading and writing it. I’ve discovered that poetry is the art of brevity, and that’s right up my alley.
However, this kind of poetry is a tough fish to tackle. It’s called crab canon, and I get a headache just thinking about trying it.
I’m going to let you guys read the post on crab canon by Mignon Fogarty, or Grammar Girl.
If you do write a crab canon poem, let me know in the comments! Good luck!
